To join the Rebel Alliance and take part in the aerial battles above the Death Star, build the Star Wars™ X-Wing spacecraft from the licensed Star Wars™ Ugears collection. This two-in-one model includes a base inspired by the surface of the Death Star. Inside the base, a motorized pivoting mechanism replicates the maneuvers of the X-Wing as seen in the original Star Wars movie. The fighter and base connect and detach using a magnet. Several moving parts add to the realism and fun: the cockpit canopy opens, the front and rear landing gear can be removed, and an R2-D2-shaped button on top of the fuselage opens a lower hatch. However, the main mechanical feature is the S-wing, which opens and locks into the attack position. The model is powered by three AA batteries or via a USB Type-C connection (batteries and USB connector not included).

Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter™ is compatible with the TIE Fighter™ model from the official Star Wars collection by Ugears. These models can be connected together using the included connectors to create a larger Death Star surface, putting you at the heart of the action in the climactic trench scene from the original Star Wars movie.
