The two-wheeled all-terrain reconnaissance vehicle – Star Wars™ AT-ST™ – from the Ugears licensed series is a light two-wheeled spring-loaded patrol vehicle from the formidable arsenal of the Galactic Empire. Fans of the Star Wars saga will recognize these infantry war machines from the battles of Hoth and Endor, as they appear in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). Beware of the traps set by the Ewoks and the logs!
The AT-ST Walker is spring-powered and moves slowly and organically, closely resembling its cinematic counterpart, over distances of 60 to 80 cm. The head swivels from side to side when the model is in motion to allow for 360-degree firing. The chin-mounted blaster cannons, cheek-mounted light blasters, and grenade launchers can be manually operated to pivot up and down, while the cockpit windows and top hatch open manually. The model is made of colored plywood, with detailed illustrations on the outside for a realistic look. It also includes metal components for added durability and stability. Reassemble the AT-ST Walker by inserting the hidden key into the right side of the “head” and turning it counterclockwise. Hold the body of the Walker while you wind it up (do not hold it by the head or legs, as these parts are less sturdy). Place the model on a flat surface and press the on/off button on the front of the body to send the AT-ST on a mission to eliminate pockets of rebel resistance!
